Dear Sorors and Friends,

     Welcome to the official website of the Zeta Iota Chapter of the National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Inc. I am Stacy Brogsdale Alexander and it is a privilege to be the Chartering President of this group of 20 dedicated professional women in the field of Education. We are thrilled about the impactful work we are doing and will continue to do as we stand united "Shoulder to Shoulder for Zeta Iota!” Our primary objective is to cultivate a sense of sisterhood among educators and uphold the highest standards of the teaching profession.

     Located in Upper Marlboro, MD, the Zeta Iota Chapter is committed to fostering professional development among teachers, nurturing genuine sisterhood, promoting excellence in teaching, and above all, empowering the potential of the youth in the Prince George’s County communities we serve through our Y.E.S programs: Youth, Education, Service.

     Since our Chartering in May 2022, the Zeta Iota Chapter eagerly anticipates enriching the communities we have been fortunate to be a part of. We will remain steadfast pillars in our neighborhoods, fulfilling our mission as devoted educators.
